The phylum chordate is the most notable phylum. Cephalochordata and Urochordata are the two groups of invertebrates of the phylum Chordata. Vertebrata is the major subphylum of chordates. The subphylum is further divided into five classes, namely Pisces, Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves, and Mammalia.
