Summary Introduction

To determine:

The effect of genotype on a phenotype cannot always be determined without knowing what the environment is and why the effect of a particular environment on a phenotype cannot always be determined without knowing what the genotype is.

Introduction concept:

Genotype provide genetic identity of a person. The genetic identity differs from person to person (i.e. personal genome sequence). Genotype carries multiple genes or a particular gene. When DNA makes RNA molecules and protein, the genotype is expressed.

Phenotype gives information about our physical properties. For example eye color and height. It also gives information about our health our behavior like our likes and dislike. In general the way we present ourselves to the world is called phenotype.
