Introduction:

Excitatory signals are those signals which cause a never cell to transmit or generate an action potential in order to send information in the form of an electrical impulse to another neuron or nerve cell, where Inhibitory signals workexact opposite to the excitatory signals causing the nerve cells to inhibit the transmission of impulses.
