Introduction:

It is given that mutations caused due to higher temperature conditions in bacteria cause expression of two types of strains: the wild type grows at normal temperature and another mutant type at higher temperatures. At higher temperatures, the RNA polymerases complete transcription normally during elongation process in the mutant strains, but new transcription does not take place.
