Chapter 17, Problem 5U
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

A DNA library is a complex mixture in DNA (whole genome) in a form that is easier to handle and work with rather than working with enormous chromosome present within a cell. Huge DNA molecules in chromosome can be inserted into vector in the form of random fragments that propagate in a host which will together represent “whole genome”. This resulting aggregate is known as DNA library.
