Birth control pills are the pills taken to prevent pregnancy. They are the analogues for the female sex hormones, estrogen and progesterone. Mini pills are also birth control pills. Normal birth control pills have two analogs but mini pills have only one analog. Also, mini pills are not as powerful as a normal pill.
