CAR or chimeric antibody/ T-cell receptor therapy is a technique used for the treatment of cancer wherein the T-cell receptors of the cancerous cells are engineered to increases their affinity to the T-cells. This increases the immune response of the T-cells to the cancerous cells thereby suppressing it to some extent.
