Substituting the value of ‘ s’ from equation (2) in equation (1).

  $\begin{array}{l}s=4+2t\\ 3\left(4+2t\right)+4t=2\\ 12+6t+4t=2\\ 12+10t=2\\ 10t=-10\\ t=-1\end{array}$

When $t=-1$ ,

  $\begin{array}{c}s=4+2t\\ =4+2\left(-1\right)\\ =4-2\\ =2\end{array}$

So, the solution of the given equations is $\left(-1,2\right)$ .
