Wireless Power Transfer Technology:

• Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) also known as wireless power transmission or Wireless Energy Transmission (WET) is used for transmitting electrical energy without wires.
• Wireless electricity is also named as “witricity” by the researchers.
• The main principle of wireless power transfer is coupled resonant objects so that electricity can be transferred to objects without using wires as a physical link.
• The witricity system consists of receiver and transmitter.
• The witricity device can be installed on those ceiling which allows the use of battery-less electronic appliance.
• Without the use of trailing wires or charger connections, automatic charging of portable game players, laptops, and MP3 players are possible.

Cell Link:

• A cellular link or cell link is a communication link in which the last link will be always wire-less.
• Their main features are as follows:
  • Since the cell towers are closer, they use less power than with a single transmitter.
  • They have more capacity than a single transmitter.
  • They also have large coverage area than a single terrestrial transmitter.
