Summary Introduction

To define:

The term vaccine.

Introduction:

A biological preparation that provides “active acquired immunity” for a particular disease is known as a vaccine. The agents present in the typical vaccine resemble the microorganisms that cause disease and are often made from a dead or weak microbe, generally protein or toxins from its surface. The vaccine stimulates the immunity of the body and prepares the body for the future attacks with the same antigen.
