To determine: Individuals who lack enzyme for citric acid cycle are rare due to genetic mutations.

Introduction:

Mutations on the genes of enzymes results in the alteration of enzyme or the loss of activity of enzymes. If mutation occurs in the enzyme it disturbs the proper machinery of body and interferes with the metabolism of various molecules which causes harsh results on the body.
