To explain: Dalton’s modernization of understanding

Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
According to Dalton’s atomic theory, matter consists of extremely small particles called atoms which are indivisible and indestructible. Atoms of an element have same mass, size and chemical properties while for different elements size, mass and chemical properties are also different.
Dalton’s modernization of Greek’s ideas provided a physical explanation for chemical reactions. Due to this modernization, the reactions could finally represent in a quantitative manner by using chemical symbols and equations. In a chemical reaction, the atoms are combined, separated or rearranged. Hence, the model of atom which is currently accepted has evolved from the ideas of many scientists.
Conclusion:
Thus, Dalton’s modernization leads to the quantitative approach of the chemical reactions.
