Redox reaction is reaction that includes change in oxidation number of molecule, atom or ion and these changes are due to transfer of electron from one species to another. A complete reaction involves oxidation and reduction.

A redox indictor is a chemical species that undergoes sharp color change at a specific electrode potential. Mostly redox indicators are organic compound. The potential at the equivalence point must be between the potentials for each redox couple.
