Company WT announced that it is going to use radio frequency identification technology (RFID) to track the movement of inventory and other related activities. It is one of the top companies to include barcodes to their products in stores.
There were many issues with the RFID technology. The most important of them was the cost of the chip which put an additional burden on the suppliers. But, the company is still confident in successfully implementing the technology.
