Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The autonomic nervous system consists of two divisions namely sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. Both the systems work on synergistic and antagonistic effects on target organs. This nervous coordination is brought out by the nerve fibers and its neurotransmitters. Sympathetic division controls the involuntary actions of physiology at the time of fight and flight. The parasympathetic controls the physiology at rest and digest.
