The molar mass of an unknown gas is to be stated.

Concept introduction:

Mole concept uses a specific quantity called moles to define the amount of substance. It relates the molar mass, given mass and also the molar volume to a specific constant called the Avogadro’s number. The volume of an ideal gas is directly proportional to temperature and number of moles of gas. From the above stated law, the ideal gas is equation is shown below.

PV=nRT

The density of a substance is defined as ratio of mass and volume. It is a characteristic property of a substance that relates the mass of that substance with the space it occupies.
