Case Summary:
A fest was organized was F&F on a beach of B. It was an imaginative fest as nothing rolled down in practical. A fest in which certain steps of management need to be followed were missing. No planning, no organizing was done, only marketing was done which led many enthusiastic people to attract themselves for the event and do all the bookings of private villas, food, transportation, and many other facilities. All the people who were interested in the event booked all their stuff from the websites. But when the guests arrived, there was no island on which event could happen, no transportation was available, people were stranded in tents, dining with bread, no electricity, no communication.
This was because MF who was in charge of the event had no experience of creating an event. He was good at marketing due to which he raised tons of dollars. The only mail received by tourists is that the event has been postponed. Planners warned MF to create an event or else lifetime imprisonment.
Interpretation:Problems in vertical and horizontal communication errors.
