Interpretation:

The product of beta emission by $\text{M}\text{o}$ is to be determined.

Concept Introduction:

In beta emission, a neutron is converted into a proton. So, the mass number remains the same but the atomic number increases by 1. In the process, the mass number as well as the atomic number is conserved. The total mass number or atomic number of the reactants equals the sum of the mass numbers or atomic numbers of the products.
