Introduction: Humans are diploid organisms having 23 pairs of chromosomes out of which the last two, X and Y-chromosomes are known as sex chromosomes whereas the rest are known as autosomes. These sex chromosomes are passed on from parents to progeny as they carry the genes which are important for the development of traits and characteristics in the offspring. The females have both XX- chromosomes whereas the males have XY-chromosome.
