Introduction:

Hypertension is categorized as either primary or secondary hypertension. Primary hypertension can be defined as a high pressure that is not associated with another medical condition; whereas, secondary hypertension develops due to another medical condition. Primary hypertension accounts for approximately 90-95% of adult cases while around 5-10% of people suffered from secondary hypertension.
