Neurotransmitter is chemical substances which are released by the end of the nerve fibers by the arrival of the nerve impulses. The examples of some neurotransmitters are: acetylcholine, serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine and so on. The neuromodulators are the drugs which block the activity of neurotransmitter.
There are certain drugs which affect the nervous system. These drugs can have three form of effect such as a depressive, simulative and psychoactive.
