Explanation of Solution

Pipe beveling is the process of giving an angle to the end of pipe or tube for end to end welding. High strength of joint can be formed with the help of beveling of pipe. For proper end preparation the pipe must beveled at an angle between 30°and35° to form a 60°to75° V groove as shown below.
