Introduction:
Team-based organizational structure is comparatively a new type of organizational structure. It is less hierarchical and more flexible. A team consists of a group of employees with different skills working to achieve a common goal.
Answer to Problem 1CA
Solution:
Team-based organizations are preferred by most of the young employees who would like to take the responsibility and own decisions to achieve assigned tasks. To be effective, all team members should have the right skills and they should be fit to the team culture.
Explanation of Solution
Most of the young employees prefer to work in team-based organizations as there is no strict supervision.
Team-based organizational structures are less hierarchical and more flexible. Team players are responsible for their own work in achieving the final goal/ outcome. Normally young people like to take responsibility and make own decision and it is possible in team-based organizations. Due to the less hierarchy, decisions can be taken easily. Trust and effective communication among team members are really important to achieve the goals.
Team-based organizations generally focus on values and employees rather than the role of employees. So often there is a favorable situation for employees in team based organizations.
However, on the other hand, team−based organizations should be able to select employees with the right skills and right attitudes. If there are players who do not fill into the team culture, the team will not be able to achieve tasks and other team players will be dissatisfied.

It is Thursday afternoon, just a few days before the holiday season starts in your region, and you decided to visit your uncle Chao who owns a local delivery company. The increase in spending was due to an increase in consumer confidence because the job market has shown a positive increase in both employment and income." While sitting in your office, your teammate, Alejandra, walked to your office and said, "Have you heard the recent news about the economy? They said that investment has declined, and government spending has declined too. They also said that GDP is expected to shrink in the next 6 to 10 months. I wonder what is next."
