Introduction:

Cranial nerves are used to communicate to all parts of the body from the brain. It is of twelve types; 1 to 12 cranial nerves are present in our body. All cranial nerves enter the brain through the spinal cord. Each nerve has a distinctive function and specific name. The accessory nerve is the one that arises from the neck region; all other cranial nerves arise from the brain.
