The below is the $\text{O}\left(\text{n}\right)$ that finds the longest run in an array:

• If the list contains only one value
  • Return 1
• Else
• Initialize the value for the longest run to zero.
• Iterate through the list of values by counting lengths of runs by counting the duplicate value
