Introduction:
The theorists who emphasized the importance of both “a person’s own experience on learning and effect of other people on behavior” are known as “social cognitive learning theorists”. Social cognitive view explains that behavior is governed by external stimuli as well as by cognitive process such as memory, judging and anticipating. Albert Bandura and Julian Rotter are some of the theorists who worked on the concept of social cognitive learning.
