Summary Introduction

Introduction:

During translation, a charged tRNA (transfer ribonucleic acid) molecule enters the ribosome, transfers the amino acid to the growing protein chain and then exits the protein. When the ribosome is assembled, it forms binding sites where the tRNA can interact with the mRNA (messenger RNA) to form the peptide.
