Summary Introduction

To determine:

The functions of helper T cells compared with cytotoxic T cells and the role of MHC molecules in their responses.

Introduction:

The cytotoxic T cells, as well as helper T cells, are the two main classes of T cells. The cytotoxic T cells kill cells directly which are infected with a virus or even some other intracellular pathogenic organisms. The helper T cells help in the stimulation of the responses of other cells, in particular, the B cells, macrophages, and cytotoxic T cells.
