Concept explainers
Interpretation
The molar absorptivity has to be calculated.
Concept Introduction:
UV/vis spectroscopy: It is deal with information about various compounds that have conjugated double, the UV light and visible light have jest the right energy to cause an electronic transition in a molecule that is to promote an electron from one molecular orbital to another higher energy.
Beer-Lambert law: This theory explain that absorbance depends on the both the concentration of the sample and the length of the path through the sample, this relationship between absorbance, concentration, length of the light path and molar absorptivity, it is know as the Beer-Lambert law, it given some fallowing equation.
