Introduction: Any infection or injury generates an immune response in the body. The body has well defined mechanisms to fight against these infections through the immune system. There are two types of immunity namely innate and adaptive immunity. Innate immunity occurs since the time of birth whereas adaptive immunity is developed in response to exposure to an antigen.
