Introduction: The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a clear and colorless fluid surrounding the exposed surfaces of the central nervous system (CNS). The arachnoid granulations are otherwise called arachnoid villi, the place where the cerebrospinal fluid is taken up into the venous circulation.
