Chapter 13, Problem 7SQ
Summary Introduction
Introduction: The controlling and communication center of human body are known as brain. The brain receives, evaluates, and processes several inputs and manages the action and initiates the response. There are various voluntary and involuntary activities that occur in the body to maintain the homeostasis. The spinal cord is a column of nerve tissue that arises from the medulla oblongata to the second lumbar vertebra within the vertebral column. There are thirty-one pairs of spinal nerves that emerge from the spinal cord. The spinal nerves are named as per the location of the nerve in the vertebral column.
