To determine:
The way one feels when talking in a large meeting of strangers.
Introduction:
Talking in a large meeting of strangers can be nerve wracking. It is an instance where a person has to focus on many people whom he does not know, at the same time. It can be difficult coming up with topics to talk about as there is a fear of not being accepted or your ideas being rejected. It is also difficult to know if all your ideas can mesh or if you do not work together at all. And there is also a possibility of your ideas being ignored and drowned out among a large meeting of strangers, which can be disheartening. Talking to strangers can be awkward and tense, as no one knows anything about each other or what they should talk about.

In the service industry, customer satisfaction “can be defined by comparing perceptions of service received with expectations of service desired” (Bordoloi, p. 142). When your customer's “expectations are exceeded, service is perceived to be of exceptional quality” (Bordoloi, p. 142). When your customers “expectations are not met; however, service quality is deemed unacceptable” (Bordoloi, p. 142). Therefore, “when expectations are confirmed by perceived service, quality is satisfactory” (Bordoloi, p. 142). Please review Figure 6.1, “Perceived Service Quality,” on p. 142, which graphically represents these expectations, including word of mouth, personal needs, and past experience.
