Explanation of Solution

Applying a style sheet to a JavaFX application:

• A style sheet is a text file that consists of style definitions.
• Style sheets files are generally saved with the file extension of “.css”.
• To apply a style sheet in a JavaFX application, the user needs to save the style sheet in the same directory of JavaFX application.
  • Then the user adds the style sheet to the scene in the application code.

The example for adding a stylesheet to the scene object is shown below:

scene.getStylesheets().add("exampleStyles.css");
