Introduction:

Oral or mouth cancers are caused due to smoking and chewing of tobacco. This can lead to mutations in offspring. The exchange of genetic material between two homologous chromosomes is called crossover of chromosome. This process is responsible for recombinant DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). The depiction of the recombination frequencies between the genetic markers during crossovers is called the genetic map. The space between two genetic markers is given by the crossover frequencies.
