To write:
The autonomic regulation of cardiac function and effects of autonomic activity on the rate and force of ventricular contraction and starling curves in order to support the explanation.
Introduction:
The cardiac output is the amount of blood pumped by the heart per minute. The cardiac output is the product of the heart rate and the stroke volume. Heart rate is the number of beats per minute and stroke volume is the amount of blood for each beat. The two primary modes by which the blood volume pumped by the heart is regulated by two factors, i.e., intrinsic cardiac regulation in response to changes in the blood volume flowing into the heart; and control of the heart rate as well as cardiac contractility by the autonomic nervous system.
