The use of social and communication networks keep the employees in touch with one another. This, in turn, minimizes the requirement for long email streams. This saves time and increases their productivity as now the issues get solved promptly. Moreover, timely responses to urgent emails contribute to the growth of the company.
The social and communication networks aid in constant employee communication. As a result, the employees are able to understand clearly the job responsibilities of their colleagues and the employees in other departments. Hence, they are clear about their roles which increase their job satisfaction.
Because of the use of social and communication networks used by employees, they do not need to spoon-feed about company practices, rules, and regulations. Being in constant contact with other employees, they are able to have first-hand knowledge of the company's strategies and best practices.
