Chapter 13, Problem 12CP
Summary Introduction
To review
The ascending and descending tracts of the spinal cord.
Introduction:
Spinal cord is 45 cm in length and has a cylindrical shape. The sole purpose of this bone in the body is to regulate the homeostasis. There are two spinal cord tracts. Ascending tract conduits the sensory information towards the brain. In contrast, descending tract conduits the motor information from the brain to the spinal cord.
