Types of E-Commerce solutions:

The different types of E-Commerce solutions available are,

• Instant Online Storefront,
• Off-the-Shelf Shopping Cart Software, and
• Custom-Built Solutions.

Instant Online Storefront:

• An Instant Online Storefront is an e-commerce solution, where the transactions are generated online for the merchants to host a website that advertise their products or services.
• Another name for online storefront is electronic storefront.
• The two most popular instant storefront solutions are Shopify (http://www.shopify.com) and BigCommerce (http://www.bigcommerce.com).
• Some instant storefront solutions are free, whereas some are fee-based which may charge some hosting fees.
