How second-messenger systems function at synapses.
Introduction: The synapses are the gaps or the junctions that pass the information between the neurons or from the neurons to the receiving effector cell. The synaptic vesicles are found in axon terminal, and most of them are “docked” at release sites present on the membrane.They are ready to secrete neurotransmitter molecules on demand. A little far away from the plasma membrane synaptic vesicle reserve pool is located, and it is bound to the membrane.
