Introduction:
The nervous system is a complex network of nerve cells. Nerves are the basic unit of the nervous system. The foremost function of the nervous system is to detect changes in the body and the environment and conduct the signal to the central nervous system (CNS). The CNS determines the response according to the information and then the command is primarily given to the muscles or glands to carry out the action. Neurons are classified into unipolar, bipolar, multipolar, and anaxonic neuron based on their structure.
