The purpose of the code is to display a stage with a title. In the given program,

• The packages are added.
  • Declare a main class named “MyFirstGUI” which extends the “Application” class.
    • Declare a main method using “public static void main”.
    • Launch the method using “launch ()” method.
  • Declare a “start ()” method which overrides the “start ()” method in the “Application” class. Inside this method,
    • Set the title as “My First GUI Application”.
    • Display the stage on the window using “primaryStage.show()” method.
