Concept explainers
Define accuracy or precision in terms of a process capability study.
The accuracy or precision in terms of process capability study.
Explanation of Solution
The process capability study is the determination of the process inconsistency of a given feature. It is the ability to make parts in the specified limits.
The accuracy is the nearness of the calculated value to the given value. It can also be defined as the number of times the process is capable of giving the accurate results. Precision and accuracy are different precision is the closeness of the two values that have been calculated by the process. In the measurement of precision and accuracy, process capability is helpful. Process capability study gives the quantity of the precision and accuracy.
