Formula used: Area of rhombus using diagonals is given by

where, $d_1\&d_2$ are diagonals of rhombus.

Calculation: Here, $\begin{array}{l}{d}_1=6\text{ yd}\\ d_2=9\text{ yd}\end{array}$

Putting the value of $d_1\&d_2$ in (1),

  $\begin{array}{l}\text{Area of given figure(rhombus) = }\frac{1}{2}\times d_1\times d_2\\ =\frac{1}{2}\times 6\times 9\\ =27\text{ square yard}\end{array}$

We know, $1\text{ yard }=3\text{ feet}$
