Introduction:

Extrinsic eye muscles are present in eyeballs that help an individual to move eyeballs. They are considered to be the fastest contracting muscles among the skeletal muscles in the human body.

Extrinsic eye muscles are present in three pairs in the body that are named as superior and inferior recti, lateral and medial recti, and superior and inferior obliques.
