
Introduction:
“Major life events” are stressors that need adjustments. They can potentially cause an impact on chronic health problems and the threat of accidents. Stress is formed due to the demand for people to change, adjust or adapt their lifestyles.
SRRS is the Social Readjustment Rating Scale devised by Holmes and Richard in 1967. SRRS is a scale that is used to measure the amount of stress in the life of an individual, by combining that person with the total life change units associated with major events in that scale.
CUSS is the College Undergraduate Stress Scale that is a recent version of SRRS. CUSS is used to measure the amount of stress in the life of a student over a year period leading from major life events.
