Introduction:
“Stress” is a term that can be used to define the emotional, physical, cognitive and behavioral responses originated due to challenging or threatening events. “Stressors” are the stress-causing events that can appraise in a person due to an external source and can range from mild to severe. There are three types of external events that can cause stress in an individual: “catastrophes”, “major life changes” and “hassles”. Major life events are stressors that need adjustments. They can potentially cause an impact on chronic health problems and the threat of accidents.
