database often encrypted. This is to protect the data from unauthorized users trying to read the contents. And those who need to process the data should get permission to do it. - DBMS (Database Management System) provides a
mechanism to stop accessing data by unauthorized people.

- Each person accessing the database should have a profile that includes a user name, a strong password
- Only administrators should have access to create and delete tables.
