Include the Alhambra, a fourteenth-century palace in Granada, Spain, in the presentation, as well as works by the artist M. C. Escher. Discuss the various symmetries (translations, rotations, reflections) associated with tessellations. Demonstrate how to create unique tessellations, including Escher-type patterns. Other than creating beautiful works of art, are there any practical applications of tessellations?
