Introduction:

The range of different colors produced by a beam of light when it passes through a medium, such as water, is known as a light spectrum. According to the wavelength of the colors, they are absorbed by different pigment molecules in the plants. In photosynthesis, two types of spectrum are found—absorption spectrum and action spectrum.
